Rebel Fleet Trooper - Andy

I, like Will, love the first scene of A New Hope but I can't help but feel sorry for the little guys that got mowed down by Vader and his Stormtroopers. I love their cumbersome helmets with their little antennas and their complete lack of any body armour. 

I was going to to do an X-wing, but watching and re-watching the final scenes of A New Hope you quickly realise that the Rebel Fighters couldn't strategically outflank a turtle. 

Wedge Antilles - Drew

When it comes to rebel fighters, you cant do better than Wedge Antilles. The only pilot to play a part in taking down both Death Stars, plus who tripped up the AT-AT on Hoth, Wedge thats who. Then after the movies he takes command of Rogue Squadron and goes kicking ass all over the galaxy.

Wedge flies circles around everyone, except maybe a Skywalker..

Theme 61 - Star Wars pt2 or the Empire Strikes Back!

Well done everyone for a very impressive last week. Continuing our Star Wars theme this week we look at the Rebellion or the 'good guys'.

Choose you favourite Rebel fighter - can be anyone you want from any of the Star Wars related franchises BUT....

and theres always a BUT...

The exception is NO Jedi's, for that matter no main characters of any kind ie Han, Chewy...

Think the little guy, the guy/gal who had 10 seconds of screen time and perhaps only one memorable line of dialogue!
