I wanted to do a drawing that you might find scrawled inside a diary of one of the first settlers. I'd started out with the intention of making him a cross between various animals like so many actual australian animals are, but in the end he ended up looking like a generic reptilian beast.

Theme 32 - The Aussie Bunyip!

Next Wednesday (26th Jan) is Australia Day! To mark this momentous occasion and to show a little patriotism, this weeks theme will be Australia's very own mythical creature - the mysterious Bunyip!

There are a number of conflicting descriptions, but no one really knows what the beast looks like. Which makes it a perfect theme for Houdini! Heres a chance to get creative, time to let loose and go wild guys.
