Batman - Andy

I had a strong vision in my mind for what i wanted for this piece and, to be honest, I don't think I achieved what my vision required. But I gave it a shot. Initially, I wanted to do a Batman Year One Mazzucchelli style drawing because I thought it fit nicely with the theme of Houdini's 'Year One' anniversary, but you get this instead.

This one came together pretty easy. I love it when that happens. A good way to end a years worth of posting!

Inspired by a little by two of my all time favs - Paul Pope and Mike Allred. I think Bats should look a little kooky, cause lets face it, you would have to be a little on the nuts side to dress as a Bat and go fight crime with no powers.
