I had and still do a huge collection of Masters figures. why did I choose FISTO, because he had a big metal fist (a long time before Hellboy) and a beard and he wore purple.

He-Man - Daniel

Well to say it has been a while since my last post would be an understatement. When I saw the theme of He-Man I had to jump into this one. I grew up playing with He-Man figurines as a kid and I loved the cartoon. So any way I went for an darker interpretation of the great man. I like the idea of a He-Man where he does get a bit of blood on the sword and gets a bit angry when taking down the bad guys. Enjoy!

So for this weeks piece I wanted to go back to basics and actually draw, yes! draw! my pice by hand first. When that was done I decided to just color over the pencils. This is the result.

For some reason I had plenty of sketches for this theme. I ended up mashing two of them into one composition. As an unplanned retro fit it kinda works, sort of. Anyway I felt like drawing a barbarian type character so Heman fit the bill and Beastman was one of the first action figures I remember owning as a kid.
