Bond 007 - Dean

And here's Bond...I went for a Daniel Craig quietly walking away from a refinery or something he just destroyed...all in a day's work I guess! For some reason I had a penchant for explosions this weekend...they are just such a cool and quick way of adding texture and background... I also noticed how I seem to be stuck on purples, blues and oranges this weekend...will need to mix it up a bit on the next one.

Richard Kiel aka "Jaws" - Drew

Throughout all the Bond movies, i think Jaws was the most memorable villain. Not only is he one of the only characters to appear in more than movie, his identifying trademark isnt just an eyepatch or a fluffy kitty, but big steel chompers, plus hes a 7'2" giant.. Memorable!

Jaws, like the big nazis in every Indiana Jones movie, is my favourite kind of henchman. The unkillable dude that actually gives the hero a bit of a challenge unlike the innumerable red shirts that taken out throughout the length of the film. You can hit them with a car, or throw em in front of a train, or drop em off a cliff, they just dont die!

The Puppet Master - Egor

I love Bond through rosie nostalgic glasses. Now days re-watching most of the old movies, puts me to sleep (they're very long....).
At the last minute I changed the layout and had the chic lay upon the 007 type. Hell the type needs a lot of crafting. The chicks a little awkward and her left hand doesnt fall as it should but.... as Andy says screw it, it'll do.

Bond, James Bond - Andy

As discussed with Fast Eddy below, and prior to that in my Houdini post, likenesses are hard. With this Bond illustration I sez to myself: "Andy, why do a likeness?" And I, being reasonable, sez: 'Good point.'
The idea was to not do any one particular Bond actor, but to catch the vibe of the character. Did I achieve this goal? Probably not; he could be a gangster looking at him now, but dammit! it'll have to do.

Sean Connery - fast eddy

I know this one is a bit boring but I was up for the challenge of drawing Sean Connery's face! And I don't think I really got there in the end but I tell you I tried! It's amazing how one false move with the pencil can change that person's identity. One eyelash can change them from warm to cold! Argh!

019 - Bond

Yay! Its Friday! Aside from the end of a particularly long working week, today also marks the week of Bond, James Bond.
Im keeping this one open to interpretation. Some people like the villains, others enjoy the gadgets and cars - me I like the chics and the swarmy charm of it all.
So cast yourself as Ian Fleming and get creative with the world of Bond.
